My name is D., I am about 14 kilos overweight, and I am a picky eater!
Trust me, I'm not even going to try to dispute that fact. It's just the way I am, although I have made some progress in spreading the array of food I AM eating. Not drastically, but I'm getting there and it made my life easier, food-wise. There will be more about my food problems in blog posts, so I will not focus on that right now.
The purpose of this blog is a challenge to reach a desired weight within a year, and show myself that even with a picky attitude towards food I can be fit and healthy. That's right, fit, not skinny, because I love my curves and I want to keep them.
I will document my weekly body measurements, the amount of food I'm eating, and the exercises I'm doing, to get to where I want to be. I know it would probably be easier to just lose weight by eating less or being on a special diet, but I want my body to build muscles in the process. And, let's face it, it's way more fun seeing what your own body is capable of.
